Practical application
The testing voltage for dielectric strength testers depends on the market that your product
is going to enter into. You must comply with safety standard and regulations of the import
control laws of the country. The safety standards specify the voltage and time for testing. The
ideal condition is to ask your customers for relevant testing requirements. The normal voltage
for testing is as follows: working voltage is from 42V to 1000V. The testing voltage is two time
the working voltage with an additional of 1000V. For this testing voltage, it should take 1
minute.For example, for a product that works at 230V, its testing voltage is 1460V. Testing
voltage should be increased if the time is deducted.
